🎓 Application
How did you learn about this program?
Among several exchange programs offered by my Russian university, I chose it based on alumni recommendations.
Why did you decide to enrol in this program? Which factors were decisive?
Alumni recommendations played the main role.
What was your application experience? What was required?
There was an interview and a scholarship application. I won the largest scholarship because I called the university in France directly to clarify the details (it turned out you could submit as many recommendation letters as you wanted, not just one as they told us in Russia, and it was better to prepare everything in French). I followed the French instructions exactly and won the scholarship.
What level of English is required to enter this program?
Ilets 5 (not sure)
What level of French is required to enter this program?
Not mandatory
💡 Your impressions from your study abroad experience
What are your general impressions about this program?
It was an International Business program. The international aspect was very strong — we studied other cultures a lot and learned how to understand each other. In terms of business, it was somewhat less advanced than HSE, but the diploma itself is more valuable.
What was the major program value for you?
Networking and the international environment.
What did you like about this program?
The international focus and networking opportunities.
And what didn’t you like?
The level of study was more superficial compared to my home university (Higher School of Economics, HSE).
What is the hardest part of studying abroad?
Writing papers in English and French.

Did you contact other students with a similar experience? Was their experience helpful?
Yes, alumni were very helpful.
Could you recommend websites which might help study abroad?
Facebook and communication with alumni. Maybe also Campus France website.
💰 Finance
What was the cost of your program? How did you finance your studies?
€800 registration + €11,000 tuition per year. Eiffel Scholarship + parental support.
How much did you pay for living per month during your studies?
€800
🏠 Accommodation
Where did you live during your studies? / What was your accommodation experience?
In Cité Universitaire. It was covered by the scholarship, and the allowance was enough for living and travelling.
🚀 Career opportunities
Did you do an internship during your studies? How did you find it?
After studies, I worked one year in Russia without informing the university (otherwise I would have had to graduate immediately and lose my visa). Then I returned to France for an internship — more prospects.
Did your university help you in this process?
No. The school’s name and reputation helped.
What was the field of your internship? If you don’t mind, please share the remuneration you got.
Television. Major private TV channel. I earned 1200€ per month. In the industry, salaries range from 400€ to 1100€ depending on the channel.
Did you find a job after graduation? Which field and how did you find it?
I searched for a year in consulting. I contacted 40 firms in Paris and got 4 offers.
