🎓 Application
How did you learn about this program?
Networking, rankings, and university websites
Why did you decide to enrol in this program?
Ranking, curriculum, scholarships
What was your application experience?
The process was divided into stages – submitting a dossier and an online interview. The latter was in a recorded format – questions would appear on the screen, and you had 2 minutes to answer. It was quite reasonable overall, mostly motivation-related questions.
What level of English is required to enter this program?
6,5 IELTS
What level of French is required to enter this program?
Not mandatory
💡 Your impressions from your study abroad experience
What are your general impressions about this program?
Overall, the program met my expectations. The atmosphere in the second year was very different: the focus was 100% on job searching, and all subjects were aimed at developing the necessary hard and soft skills. The schedule was designed to prepare students for work in consulting (some intensive courses lasted until late in the evening). There were many projects in addition to the core subjects and opportunities to work directly with companies. The academic requirements were quite high, and about 80% of the work was done in groups.
What was the major program value for you?
The program was very helpful in building a career path in France.
What didn't you like about this program?
Unbalanced schedule, overlapping topics in some courses.
And what did you like?
The network I built, the opportunity to do an internship during the studies (Explora Digital Certificate), numerous events for career development, and continuous support from the career center.
What is the hardest part of studying abroad?
Mindset, grading system, teamwork.
Is this experience different from your experience at your country's univeristy? If yes, how?
Very strong emphasis on future employment.
How did you typical day look like?
Courses – library – additional projects beyond the main program – sports.
📌 Useful resources
If you had questions or issues (studies, language, administration, careers, integration etc), where did you get help/advice?
Alumni, admissions committee, school administration, students.
Did you contact other students with a similar experience?
Yes!
💰Finance
What was the cost of your program? How did you finance your studies?
€100 for application review + €20,000 tuition fees. 15% scholarship on tuition fees + support from parents. Unfortunately, my program did not include an apprenticeship.
🏠 Accommodation
What was your accommodation experience?
EDHEC offers a selection of residences and apartments, but all further communication is handled directly by the residence or landlord (the school acts as a guarantor). Prices are around €600–700 for a studio for one person, plus the standard document package.
How much did you pay for living per month during your studies? 900-1000€, including 600€ for a studio in the city center.
🚀 Career opportunities
Did you do an internship during your studies? How did you find it?
Yes, in France at AXA + I also had an internship during my studies at a private estate.
Did your university help you in this process?
The career center organizes many events for networking and job searching. There is also very strong support from the program itself.
What was the field of your internship? If you don't mind please share the remuneration you got?
Marketing, 1500€.
Did you find a job after graduation? Which field and how did you find it?
After a year on a CDD (fixed-term contract), I transitioned into consulting in France. That was through an independent job search.
🌏 Your future plans
Do you plan to stay in France?
Yes, I plan to stay in the long term.
What do you like about France? And what not?
The openness, art de vivre, culture, and people's motivation.
No – the bureaucracy!!!
Could you give a piece of advice to future students?
Carefully plan your application strategy in advance (especially allow enough time to prepare for exams) and consider all possible outcomes to have a backup option.
